We wrapped up our Junior Achievement lessons on Monday. Students played a matching game that reviewed coins. The children also listened to a song and acted out how money travels throughout a community through the process of buying and selling good and services.
Students did a wonderful job participating in Long's Fun Run! They were able to run so many laps, and I was proud of their effort. Dr. Phillips stopped by for a team photo.
Field Day was hot, but it was a blast! The children rotated through many fun games and activities, participated in ball sports, and had Popsicles.
This week the students completed their final math unit, finished their social studies projects, wrapped up book clubs, and published their poetry portfolios. Students will be presenting and celebrating their projects next week, and then they will be coming home for you to view their hard work.
